Plants Lesson Module
The Plants module familiarizes students with the ways in which plants meet the four characteristics of living things. Students learn the parts and functions of plants and even invent their own plant in an illustrated online activity. They learn how plants meet their needs for food, water, air, and a place to live.

Through hands-on activities, students explore how plants respond to their environment. Outside, students make a bookmark from plant parts they have found on a nature walk. Students broaden and solidify plant-related vocabulary and their knowledge of plants through games and interactive activities, helping them build a strong foundation for later learning about plants.
